The BULL press brake series is CoastOne's latest development, combining all the advantages of the CONE G series with the power of a new drive system, delivering a bending force of over 100 tons on a bending length of less than 1400 mm.
At the same time, average power consumption during bending is only 1-3 kW.
These are the only electromechanical press brakes on the market with such a force-to-length ratio and highly economical operating performance.
Description
BULL press brakes — servo-electric CNC press brakes in which the ram is moved by ball screw assemblies with servo motors, with no hydraulic system.
Servo-Electric Ram Drive
The ram is raised and lowered by ball screw assemblies driven by servo motors. The motor's rotary motion is converted directly into linear ram movement, delivering high bending force with low energy consumption.
The ball screws are built into the ram and provide fast approach, precise Y-axis positioning, and consistent repeatability.
Ram Parallelism and Deflection Compensation
The ram is driven by several independent ball screws distributed along its length. Each ball screw has its own servo motor controlled by the CNC. This ensures synchronized parallel ram movement and even force distribution, which reduces deflection and stabilizes the bend angle along the entire length — without mechanical wedges or hydraulic cylinders.
Advantages of Servo-Electric Drive
- Precise motion control — servo motors control ram position and speed at every stage of the cycle.
- Stable accuracy — the absence of a hydraulic system eliminates the effect of oil heating on bend accuracy.
- Energy efficiency — the motors consume energy mainly while the ram is moving.
- Easier maintenance — no hydraulic oil, filters, or hydraulic system seals.

Safety. The most dangerous area of a press brake is the space between the punch and die in front of the operator. Operation of the press is permitted only with a work area protection system in accordance with safety requirements and the manufacturer's documentation.
